Nasarawa State Bureau of Public Procurement
The Nasarawa State Bureau of Public Procurement (NSBPP) is a regulatory body established to regulate, monitor, evaluate and audit the public procurement process in Nasarawa State.
In his effort to improve and restore transparency, justice and fairness to the state, His Excellency, The Governor carved out several mandates one of which is the eProcurement system. The deployment of the e-procurement portal will contribute enormously towards achieving efficiency and transparency in the process of public procurement in the state.
Our primary objective is to maintain a transparent, competitive, cost effective and sustain professional ethics in the procurement system, ensuring probity, accountability and transparency throughout the procurement process.
The Objectives of the Bureau:
- To maintain a transparent, competitive, cost effective and sustain professional ethics in the procurement system.
- To formulate and establish acceptable pricing standards and benchmarks.
- To marginalize existing government policies and practices on public procurement to ensure probity, accountability and transparency in the procurement process.
- To maintain the application of fair, transparent, value-for-money standards and practices both in the procurement and disposal of public assets.
- To design a technologically centralized platform for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to publish their tenders and for contractors to submit their bid online.
- To create, modify, update and manage all public procurement plans in the state.
- To create a platform where vendors are notified via email notifications of bid packages for projects by different contractors.
- To effectively coordinate, manage and perform bid advertisement and submission activities.
- To carry out open and transparent evaluation on all tenders electronically, subsequently leading to the award of contracts.

For Contractors

Contractor e-Registration
Complete your e-Registration with the Bureau to participate in procurement activities. Upon confirmation of payment and documentation, your registration certificate will be auto-generated. Registration renewal is on a yearly basis with 3-month advance notifications.
Submit Bids Online
Submit your bids electronically through our centralized platform. MDAs will evaluate your submitted bids through formal evaluation committees. Track your bid status and receive notifications throughout the evaluation process.
Recently Advertised Tenders
Browse and access the most recently advertised tenders from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies. View tender details, closing dates, and lot information. Subscribe to receive email notifications for new tender opportunities.
Registration Renewal
Receive 3-month advance notifications before your registration expires. Renew your registration yearly to maintain active status. Contractors who fail to renew for up to 3 years will need to register afresh with the Bureau.
Payment & Verification
Use our secure Payment Gateway API for streamlined financial transactions with MDAs. After project completion, submit Completion Certificates for Works, Store Received Vouchers for Goods, or Service Reports for Services to DG NSBPP for verification before payment processing.
Grievance Redress
Submit complaints or grievances through our standardized Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM). Complaints are directed to the DG's desk for review and assignment to Inspectors who investigate and report on your concerns.
